The ASHRAE Qatar Oryx Chapter Unveils New Website
The Board Members of the Qatar Oryx Chapter of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) LAUNCHED the Chapter’s upgraded website on 15 October 2024, for the Engineering community in Qatar at the Meeting Hall of FTC Qatar, attended by about 65 Engineering Professionals in person and 30 persons online. The website address for the renewed website is “https://www.ashraeoryxqatar.org/ “ Hassan Sultan, The Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Chapter, and Mohammed Mokdad, the President (Elect) of the Chapter Launched the website. Others who were present during the launch were Seenu Pillai (Vice President and Chair of Technology Transfer Committee) , Anas Zyoud ( Chair for the Student affairs Committee) , Chant Tchurukian ( Chapter’s Communications Chair) , Tony Khoury ( Chapter’s Historian) , Antoine Hilal ( Chair for the Research Promotion committee) and Wissam Salameh ( Chair for the Government Affairs Committee ) . The Launch was attended online by Fadi Abou Jamra (Chapter President) , Abdul Zameer Sab ( Chair for the Membership Promotion Committee) , Kinan Fahs ( Chapter’s Treasurer), Hani Hawamdeh ( Advisor to the BOG ) and Dharani Pillai ( Chair for the Young Engineers at ASHRAE) Chant Tchurukian (Chapter’s Communications Chair) had developed and updated the Website and explained the various aspects and the benefits of the website to the gathering. The website will now reflect the forthcoming events in a calendar and will also have the information of the past events including photos and presentations for the benefit of the technical community. Chant browed through the various pages explaining its relevance to the audience and encouraging the technical community to take the maximum benefit from the website. He underlined the following features of the ASHRAE website.

2) Information on Different committees and their respective Chairs with their contact emails
