ASHRAE Qatar Oryx Chapter participate in a Technical Seminar organized by PSME - QATAR CHAPTER

The ASHRAE Oryx Chapter, represented by its Board of Governors member Eng. Antoine Hilal, Chair of the Research Promotion Committee, was honored to participate in the panel discussion organized by the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers – Qatar Chapter. The discussion centered around the highly relevant topic: "Optimizing Industrial Equipment Maintenance Using SMART Methodologies to Reduce Downtime and Increase Efficiency."

This engaging session brought together industry professionals and thought leaders to explore the evolving role of smart technologies in facility and asset management. The exchange of insights on predictive maintenance, IoT integration, data analytics, and sustainable maintenance practices showcased the remarkable progress our industry has made — and the exciting direction it is heading.

It was a pleasure for Engineer Antoine Hilal to attend and contribute to the conversation by sharing best practices and real-world applications drawn from our experience in major infrastructure and building projects. Events like this reaffirm the importance of continuous learning and cross-regional collaboration in advancing our industry.
