ASHRAE Qatar Holds Technical Seminar - HVAC Commissioning Process

The Qatar Oryx Chapter of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) held a Technical Seminar for the Engineering community in Qatar at the Meeting Hall of FTC Qatar, attended by about 50 Engineering Professionals in person and 25 persons online.

“HVAC Commissioning Process” was the Topic for the day.
Seenu Pillai (Vice President and Chair for Chapter Technology Transfer Committee) was the Keynote speaker who kept the attendees all focused throughout the session and answered all the queries at the end of the presentation.

Hassan Sultan, The Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Chapter welcomed the gathering. Wissam Salameh and Mohammed Mokdad Coordinated as Hosts and conducted the Event. The Speaker and FTC Qatar were felicitated by Hassan Sultan at the end of the event for their contribution. Recognition Certificates from ASHRAE Society in the US , for the Research and Promotion contribution were also given to Board of Governors of the Qatar Chapter of ASHRAE.

In his presentation Seenu Pillai stressed the need for implementing Commissioning Process to the construction projects, while elaborating the Structural Methodology for implementing the process and its benefits. He spoke on the importance of Building Performance to meet the changes in People’s expectations and Business Environment as Investors are expecting higher returns on their investment.
