ASHRAE Qatar Oryx Chapter Signs MOU with PSME – Qatar
The Qatar Oryx Chapter of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Qatar Chapter of PSME (PHILIPPINE SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS) on Wednesday 11 September 2024 at DSG offices in Doha, Qatar.
Having the same vision for the continuous professional and personal development of all its members, both the Organization pledged to collaborate on programs or activities, including other necessary support that may be requested by both parties in fulfilling their common advocacy of helping and providing services for their members’ career and personal development. ASHRAE Qatar and PSME Qatar jointly agreed in principle to support each other for their respective technical Seminars and workshops
ASHRAE Qatar Oryx Chapter was represented by Hassan Sultan (Chairman of the Advisory Council for the Chapter), Mohammed Mokdad (The President Elect of the Chapter) and Seenu Pillai (Vice President and the Chair of the Technology Transfer Committee for the Chapter).
The PSME – Qatar Chapter were represented by Andy Dipasupil (Chapter President), Eugene Bautista – (Chapter’s Charter President), Herlou Binghay (Chapter’s Vice President- Internal), Henry Regalado – (Chapter’s Immediate Past President), Michael Serben (Chapter President for 2021) ,Edmond Cunanan (Chapter President for 2022) and PSME member Renz Sandoval
PHILIPPINE SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS-QATAR CHAPTER (PSME-QATAR) is a nonstock, non-profit, non-political, non-religious organization duly organized as an accredited chapter of the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers, Incorporated. The Chapter exists under the guidance of the PSME and in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers), founded in 1894, is a global society advancing human well-being through sustainable technology for the built environment. Society and its members focus on building systems, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, refrigeration, and sustainability within the industry. Through research, standards writing, publishing and continuing education. The Qatar Oryx Chapter of the ASHRAE was formed in 2008 and holds regular technical workshops and seminars apart from technical conferences in Doha.
